A large asteroid (Asteroid 2019 OK) zipped between the Earth and the Moon this past July — and astronomers didn't even know it existed until just a few days before. The asteroid was traveling at a speed of 55,000 miles per hour and came about 5 times closer to Earth than the Moon. Amazing WTF Facts
